Lyrical, Ballet, Hippity-Hop, Intro to Dance
Lisa Lombardo has studied the art of dance since she was three years old. Growing up she trained at The Delaware Valley Dance Company located in Port Jervis, New York. When she was younger she spent her summers attending programs like the American Academy of Ballet. She taught ballet, jazz, and tap for four years at The Dance Center studio, later continuing her education in dance at Wilkes University.
Lisa received both her bachelor’s and master’s in education as well. This gave her the opportunity to do the two things she loves the most in life, dance and teaching. While studying at Wilkes she joined the company Ballet Northeast located in Wilkes- Barre, PA. She has performed in a variety of full length ballets and concerts with lead roles, such as Sleeping Beauty and Sugar Plum fairy.
Lisa expresses the value of dance to life, student learning, and achievement both in and out of the classroom in an encouraging atmosphere.
