Ballet, Pointe, Character

I owe my success to a few remarkable teachers; Seda Suny Sorvillo & Leon Danielian, who were products of the great Michael Mordkin who formed American Ballet Theatre. Up until the age of 8, I studied with the Viennese Gertrude Kraus.

I danced with Les Ballet De Monte Carlo in Monaco and for 10 years in Germany with Deutsche Oper Berlin & various other companies. I was blessed to work the most respected artist in the world of that time; Margot Fonteyn, Rudolph Nureyev, George Balanchine, Jose Pares and many others.

I briefly studied with Vincenzo Celli, who taught Alicia Markova. I can say honestly that the Diaghilev Era carried thru to American Tradition, a lot of Russian Dancers. Therefore, it is safe to say I was trained in the Russian - American style. As a teacher, I transfer my experience and love of Ballet to my students and hope I can inspire many more to Love Ballet.
